Long Exposure

MT. HOLLOW - DECEMBER 14, 1998

After a bad night and an argument you weren't ready to finish, you drove six hours north into the Hollow County backcountry with a camera and a roll of 28 exposures. The plan was simple: hike the winter loop and clear your head before dark.

Then you developed the third frame.

You see something tall standing in the tree line. When you lower the camera, the snow between the pines is empty - but every time you take a photo, it stands... closer.

WHAT to EXPECT

• Framing and documenting 8 backcountry landmarks across an open, snow-covered mountain basin.
• Watch your Polaroid exposures develop in real time. Inspect your roll closely as something stalks you.
• - Recover 8 press clippings from The Hollow County Gazette, USFS incident memos, and field journals left behind by hikers who weren't lucky.
• - When the lens shatters, use your remaining flash charges and emergency trail flare caches to blind the entity and make it back to the rental hut.
• Three endings to discover
• - At the end of the tape, you'll have the chance to inspect all your findings and even download the photos you took as jpg files.
